Edo University promote 2 to Professorial Ranks, Announces UTME Excercise
Edo State University Uzairue recognizes exceptional talent and dedication as two staff members ascend to the prestigious rank of Professor, while three others are promoted to the esteemed position of Associate Professor.
This exciting announcement was made during a Senate Meeting on September 6, 2022, by Vice Chancellor Prof Emmanuel Aluyor.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized that these promotions affirm the University’s commitment to recognizing excellence, hard work, and unwavering dedication to duty. Among the newly promoted individuals are Professor (Mrs.) Florence Masajuwa, Ag. Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Professor Musa Abidemi Muhibi, Ag. Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.
In addition to the outstanding promotions, the University management has announced the commencement of the Post-UTME exercise for the 2022/2023 academic session. The exercise will take place on September 8, 2022, at the school’s e-learning center, starting at 9:00 am.
To accommodate applicants from distant locations, temporary accommodations will be provided by the University.
Prospective students who achieved a minimum score of 140 in the last JAMB UTME are encouraged to visit the University’s website at www.edouniversity.edu.ng to apply. Fresh students are expected to resume their studies on October 17, 2022, while returning students will return to campus on October 24, 2022.
The admission process is open to candidates who did not initially select Edo State University as their first choice during the UTME, as well as those who wish to transfer from their current institution to Edo State University Uzairue.
For applicants who have yet to formalize their change of university, the University has set up a desk at the screening center to assist them in facilitating their applications.
