The Edo State Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs is gearing up to orchestrate the 2023 International Youth Day festivities, scheduled from August 10th to 12th in the historic city of Benin.

This year’s theme, “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages and Encouraging Green Skills for Youth—Towards a Sustainable World,” underscores the commitment to fostering unity and environmental stewardship among young people.

Eire Ifueko Alufohai, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, announced that the Wellspring University Campus in Benin City will serve as the venue for this global observance. International Youth Day is celebrated worldwide to spotlight the pivotal role of youth in driving economic growth and constructing nations.
