Akoko Edo Local Govt Council Kicks off Grading of Community Roads

The Akoko Edo Local Government Council has embarked on the massive rehabilitation of internal roads within communities in the local government area.

The exercise which began last week was extended yesterday to the four communities of Akuku, Ojirami, Akpama and Ayahoza .

Chairman of the Council, Hon Tajudeen Alade Suleman Esq who restated his commitment to arriving at a template, reiterated the need to create an enabling environment and roadmap for upcoming administrations to key into as a basis for continuous development.

He emphasized that insinuation from some quarters will not distract him from liberating his people from stagnation and backwardness, indicating that governance is premised on service delivery to the people.

The council boss stated that the gesture would be replicated in all the communities of Akoko-Edo, adding that his administration is already being used as a reference point notwithstanding the relatively short period since he assumed office.
