Efe also accused the governor of spreading propaganda, claiming that the rice from the federal government was being channeled through Christian leaders, while it was actually given to political leaders for re-bagging and sale.
“We want to use this opportunity to appeal to President Tinubu to send the fertilizers through other channels because the people have lost confidence in the state government and the PDP.”
The group expressed gratitude to the President for addressing the concerns of Nigerian youth, contrasting his approach with the previous administration, which they said was indifferent to the people’s plight.
“We join the President in appealing to the youths to sheath their swords and give the federal government time to implement the economic policies laid out, which we believe will soon begin to yield positive results.”
They also condemned the tribalization of protests in Nigeria, noting that during the EndSars protests of 2020, some Nigerians gave it an ethnic color.
