He declared, “We are on a two-month special assignment, and Ring Road in Benin City serves as our muster point. We are going to be supporting the federal security agencies. We are not going to be doing it alone.

Our operational area includes Edo South, especially the hidden corners of Benin City. We will constantly be available for quick action in response to any information or call of duty at our base here at Ring Road, 24 hours a day.”

Dolapo urged the locals to cooperate and support him, saying, “We are prepared to take the lead. What we require is information from the public that is accurate, timely, and useful. Say something when you see something, and we will react. For us to function, information is necessary.”
