The upcoming 6th convocation ceremony at Edo University Iyamoh will honor two distinguished Edo sons—Adams Oshiomhole, former governor of Edo State and current senator representing Edo North, and Vincent Agenmomen, Chairman of the Freedom Group in Nigeria—with honorary degrees for their notable contributions to the state and national development.

At a recent news conference, Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dawood Egbefo praised the state government’s initiative to install optic fibre cable broadband across the university’s campuses, which he believes will enhance educational delivery and mitigate educational tourism in Edo State.

“The internet services will help the university provide world-class education,” Egbefo emphasized.
