The annual Cultural Carnival in Iviukhua Community in Agenebode, Etsako East LGA of Edo State, known as the Au-Ukhua Carnival, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing recognition and endorsement from the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigerian Tourism Development Agency (NTDA).
The endorsement was presented in Abuja to Mr. Christopher Aigwanyiokha, the Chairman of the Au-Ukhua Carnival Organizing Committee, by the Director General of the Agency, Mr. Folarin Coker, represented by Mrs. Funebi Otu Umondak, the Legal Adviser to the DG and Director of the Legal Department.
The NTDA Director General commended the Carnival for its significant contribution to the nation’s tourism sector, drawing in tourists and investors. He emphasized that the Carnival promotes unity among the Sons and Daughters of Iviukhua Community and neighboring communities.
