INEC announces date for supplementary elections in Edo

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday, published the list of polling units for the scheduled April 15 governorship, senatorial, federal and state assembly supplementary elections nationwide.

The list, which was made available via INEC Twitter handle, contains states, local government areas, registration areas, registered voters and the number of PVCs collected where the supplementary elections will take place.

In Edo State, for the State House of Assembly, supplementary elections will hold in 68 polling units across the affected local government areas in the state.

In Oredo East, a total of 12,850 voters with PVCs will participate the supplementary election out of the 17,091 registered voters in 29 polling units.

In Ovia South West Local Government Area, supplementary election will hold in 13 polling units with a total of 6,764 registered voters and 6,734 PVCs collected.

In Egor, 12,586 eligible voters with PVCs are expected to vote in the supplementary election in 26 polling units with registered voters of 15,416.

For the Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency supplementary election, 23,147 eligible voters with PVCs are expected to vote out of the 23,443 registered voters in 48 polling units.
