Johnny Drille visits Obaseki, Expresses Gratitude for the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub

Renowned musician, John Ighodaro, popularly known as Johnny Drille, paid a visit to Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, in Benin City, where he conveyed his appreciation for the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub. The hub serves as a platform for nurturing creative talents in the state.

During the meeting, Johnny Drille expressed his excitement about his recent visit to the creative hub, describing it as “amazing.” He highlighted the state-of-the-art studio equipped with surround sound, as well as the cinema and various other facilities, all housed in the same building.

He also acknowledged the immense untapped talent in Edo State, waiting for an opportunity to shine and embrace their true potential. He concluded by thanking Governor Obaseki for the privilege of being present at the creative hub.

In response, Governor Obaseki emphasized the government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for artists and creatives in the state.

He stated that their role is to provide the necessary infrastructure and support, while the artists themselves must bring forth their ideas and requests for assistance.

He assured Johnny Drille that the government will strive to position him as a representative of Edo’s flourishing cultural scene.
