Obaseki appoints Engr. Obanor as Permanent Secretary, Electricity Ministry

Engineer Victor Osagbouwa Obanor has been appointed by Edo State Governor Mr. Godwin Obaseki to the position of Functioning Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Electricity, succeeding Engineer Stephen Uyiekpen.

In a statement, Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., said:

The appointment of Engineer Victor Osagbouwa Obanor as the Functioning Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Electricity, has been approved by Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, and is hereby announced by the Edo State Government for the general public’s information.

“The Ministry of Mining and Energy’s Director of Electricity was held by the newly appointed Functioning Permanent Secretary, who is an electrical engineer.

“He has sixty (60) days to finish Phase 1 of the Light-Up Edo Project.

“Engineer Uyiekpen is to hand over all government properties in his possession to the new Functioning Permanent Secretary of the ministry.”
