Obaseki Dissolves Executive Council

Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council. He expressed his gratitude to the council members for their contributions to the state government and its people.

This announcement was made public through a statement signed by Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser on Media Projects to the governor, and dated May 3, 2023.

The decision to dissolve the cabinet was taken during the Weekly Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday.

Furthermore, the governor stated that all Special Assistants (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) have been relieved of their duties effective immediately.
