Obaseki Extends Heartfelt Eid Al-Fitr Wishes to Muslim Faithful, Calls for Love, Sacrifice

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has sent warm greetings to Muslims in the state as they mark Eid Al-Fitr following the conclusion of the Ramadan fast.

In his message for Eid-El Fitr, Obaseki encouraged Muslim faithful to maintain their prayers and to intensify supplications for the country to overcome its current hurdles.

Obaseki expressed, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of Eid-El Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan fast. In these challenging times, it is crucial to uphold the values of sacrifice and compassion that are integral to the spirit of Ramadan. Let us strive to embody the selflessness and love needed to support one another and navigate these difficult times together.”

The governor emphasized the importance of showing kindness and empathy towards others, following the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W), particularly amidst the current adversities.

He underscored the significance of solidarity and collaboration to surmount the nation’s obstacles, emphasizing the need for continuous prayers and concerted efforts in nation-building based on progressive values.
