At a solemn commemoration in Ewohimi, Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki paid homage to the late Chief Jeremiah Aghedo Ighodalo, hailing him as an emblem of patriotism and solidarity within the Edo community.

The remembrance, marking ten years since Chief Ighodalo’s departure, was graced by the presence of Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, the state’s First Lady; Liyel Imoke, former Governor of Cross River State; Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group; and other distinguished members of the state’s executive council.

“He was a man who brought his entire family into the fold of his vision, placing a high value on education. His presence was a source of inspiration for many from the Mid-West Region and Edo State, especially those who had the opportunity to be in Ibadan during his tenure,” Governor Obaseki stated.
