Governor Obaseki has received the new Commander of 4 Brigade, Brigadier General DH Ndahi, at Government House in Benin City, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to collaboration with the military and security agencies.
Obaseki extended a warm welcome to Ndahi, saying, “You are now part of our community, and we expect you to feel at home. Your distinguished background is well-known, and we anticipate your impactful contributions.” He emphasized the importance of building on the achievements of his predecessor and working closely with his team, particularly Chief of Staff, Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha.
The Governor reiterated his administration’s resolve to combat criminal activities, urging the new commander to focus on addressing the security challenges in the state’s waterways. He also highlighted the ongoing urban renewal projects in the Ekehuan Road corridor, which will enhance the brigade’s operations.
Brigadier General Ndahi expressed his gratitude for the state government’s support and pledged to continue his predecessor’s efforts, seeking similar cooperation from the government.
