Okpebholo-Anani Urges Edo Women to Unite for Progress

Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo-Anani, coordinator of the Edo governor’s wife’s office, emphasized the significance of unity among women during a recent meeting with representatives of the Afemai Women in Politics in Benin.

Okpebholo-Anani underscored the necessity of harmony across ethnic backgrounds for achieving shared objectives. “We must focus on oneness and work together,” she stated, advocating for a collective approach to progress.

Highlighting Sen. Monday Okpebholo’s commitment to inclusivity, she noted that he is dedicated to ensuring that no senatorial district is left behind in the pursuit of development.

During her address, she also advocated for the creation of a “Community of Sisterhood,” where women can support, empower, and inspire one another. “Empowering women remains a top priority,” she affirmed.

In response, Princess Awa Loveth-Ewere, the leader of the Afemai delegation, expressed gratitude for Okpebholo-Anani’s leadership and dedication. She reaffirmed that the group is committed to supporting the governor’s wife’s office in advancing women’s empowerment initiatives within the state.
