Omobayo Applauds EIRS’s Achievements

Engr Godwins Marvellous Omobayo, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, has lauded the accomplishments of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS) as a significant contribution to the state government’s developmental efforts.

The Deputy Governor expressed his admiration when he welcomed the EIRS management team, led by its Chairman, Hon John Osagie Inegbedion, to his office.

He asserted that the EIRS has been experiencing consistent growth and praised Governor Godwin Obaseki for fostering an environment conducive to the service’s success.

Omobayo highlighted that the state’s positive revenue profile, which has boosted the developmental initiatives undertaken by the Obaseki-led administration, can be credited to the EIRS’s reforms in managing the revenue system.

In his preliminary remarks, the Chairman of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS), Hon John Osagie Inegbedion, mentioned that they visited the Deputy Governor’s Office to celebrate his appointment and inauguration as the state’s second-in-command.

Inegbedion pointed out that Governor Godwin Obaseki has showcased an extraordinary appreciation for the state’s youth and minority populations with the well-earned appointment of the Deputy Governor.

A notable moment during the courtesy visit was when Inegbedion presented a congratulatory card to the Deputy Governor.
