Witnessing yet another remarkable milestone, Ososo, a captivating town in Akoko Edo local government area of Edo State, celebrated as Prince Dele Obaitan was installed as the esteemed High Chief Emawe of Ososo Kingdom.
The colorful event unfolded in all its splendor on the 29th of November, 2023, captivating attendees with its grandeur and cultural significance.
Adding to the enchantment of the occasion was Princess Rebecca Ibbs-Obaitan, Prince Dele Obaitan’s beautiful wife. Embracing the rich traditions of Ososo, she was gracefully inducted into the inner circle of the Ekpodos, donned in the resplendent Ososo cultural attire known as the Ulalo.
Underscoring his new status, Chief Buoro Ajaga led the charge in conducting the deeply-rooted traditional rites alongside other respected Akoko Edo chiefs. The chieftaincy conferment ceremony was graced by esteemed personalities, including the revered Otaru of Igarra.
