The Tinubu Vanguard, a political group supporting Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition, has called on Nigerians to reciprocate his contributions to democracy by backing his 2023 presidential bid.

Nasiru Daura, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasized Tinubu’s role in fighting for democracy, saying, “He struggled and fought for our democratic freedom, and now it’s time for us to repay him with our support.”
Dr. Benjamin Johnny, Director-General of Tinubu Vanguard, described Tinubu as a dedicated democrat who collaborated with others to bring about democratic dividends. “Tinubu has made significant contributions to Nigeria and Nigerians, regardless of tribe or religion,” he said.
Johnny emphasized that Tinubu is best positioned to build on President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacy, citing his role in Buhari’s electoral success and consistent support for the government. “Tinubu is the ideal candidate to consolidate on the foundation laid by Buhari, with his proven track record of leadership and dedication to Nigeria’s progress,” he added.
