Obaseki Appoints New Chairman for Local Government Service Commission

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has announced the appointment of Prince Tijani Ugbodaga as the new Chairman of the Edo State Local Government Service Commission.
According to a statement released by Crusoe Osagie, Special Adviser on Media Projects, Prince Ugbodaga will assume his new role immediately, succeeding Chief Tom Uloko.

“The government expresses its gratitude to Chief Uloko for his dedicated service to the state and wishes him success in his future pursuits,” Osagie said.
The statement added, “The appointment takes immediate effect. The swearing-in ceremony for Prince Ugbodaga will be scheduled at a later date.”
This appointment marks a new chapter in the leadership of the Edo State Local Government Service Commission, with Prince Ugbodaga poised to bring his expertise and vision to the role.

  1. Is this a new dispensation or what, because Dele Obaitan is now HRH Ichama II!!! So, l wonder why he is addressed here as Prince Dele Obaitan and still a Commissioner!!? Not even with Shaibu out there with the Governor!
