Panic as BUA Cement Contractor Kidnapped on Ososo-Okpella Road

There was palpable disquiet in Egbetua community of Ososo town this afternoon following the kidnap of a man identified as an independent contractor working for BUA Cement company in Ososo.

Early reports indicated that the victim was kidnapped and led into the bush by his assailants while his colleague escaped with bullet wounds.

Sources told Akoko Edo Newspaper that the victims were travelling on the Ososo-Okpella road when they were attacked by men dressed in military uniform.

It will be recalled that barely a fortnight ago, suspected Fulani herdsmen kidnapped another native of Ososo community in the neighbouring town of Makeke.

The man whose wife was rescued by the ceaseless screams of their nine-month-old baby when she was dragged along with him is yet to be released.
