Shuaibu seeks FG’s intervention on Benin-Auchi-Abuja Road

The deputy governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, has called on the Federal Government to repair the Benin-Auchi-Abuja Road, which is in a terrible condition.

He said the road was causing a lot of suffering for the people who use it, especially the commuters and commercial drivers.

He made this appeal during the Au-Ukhua Carnival, where he was quoted by the President-General of Iviukhua Community, Kenedy Izuagbe, in a statement shared with the media in Abuja.

He also assured the people of the state government’s dedication to bringing development to their communities. He mentioned some of the ongoing projects in Iviukhua Community, such as a road project and a renovation of the Iviukhua Primary School.

At the carnival, he, along with the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomole, and the Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, were honoured as ambassadors of the carnival.
