Obaseki Nominates Four Commissioner Candidates for Screening and Confirmation

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has submitted the names of four new commissioner-nominees to the Edo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

This announcement came through a letter from the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., addressed to the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly.

The letter stated, “I write at the instance of His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, to forward herewith the underlisted names of commissioner-nominees to the Edo State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation.”

The nominees listed are Asi Surajo Jubril, Zubairu Dada Abubakar, Osilama Okuofo, and Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor.

The letter also included thirty copies of each nominee’s curriculum vitae and requested that the nominees be screened and confirmed promptly. The Secretary to the State Government concluded the letter by sending warm regards from the governor.

The Edo State House of Assembly will now proceed with the screening process to determine the suitability of the nominees for their respective commissioner positions.
