Edo State’s Deputy Governor, Mr. Omobayo Godwin, Visits Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ignatius Omunagbe by Albert Afeso Akanbi

Today the 12th of April, 2024, saw the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Omobayo Godwin, pay a courtesy visit to the parish priest of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Ibillo, Rev. Fr. Ignatius Omunagbe.

During the visit, the Deputy Governor expressed his gratitude to the clergyman for his unwavering support and mentioned that the purpose of his visit was to seek spiritual blessings.

While offering prayers for the Deputy Governor, the state, and Akoko-Edo local government area, Rev. Fr. Omunagbe took the moment to extend his appreciation to the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, for his recognition of Akoko-Edo LGA and his confidence in a son of the soil. He also conveyed his congratulations to the Deputy Governor on his recent assumption of office.

Furthermore, the priest appealed to Mr. Godwin to utilize his tenure to advocate for and facilitate the development of the local government area…the deputy governor came in company of a few aides and officials!
