Embrace Opportunities in Agriculture, Education, Tech, Edo Charges Youths

The Edo State Government is rallying youths to capitalize on the transformative reforms and investments spearheaded by Governor Godwin Obaseki to unlock their potential and chart a path to personal development.

During a dynamic three-day skills development program at the Edo State College of Education in Abudu, Commissioner for Youth and Humanitarian Affairs, Mr. Christopher Nehikhare, emphasized the state’s unwavering commitment to equipping young individuals with the necessary skills and resources to enhance their productivity and contribute meaningfully to Edo’s progress.

Nehikhare affirmed, “We are dedicated to empowering our youths, nurturing their talents, and fostering an environment where their aspirations can flourish. Through training and support, we aim to amplify their entrepreneurial ventures and provide them with the foundation needed for success.”

Focal person for the Social Investment Programme in Edo, Mrs. Osayuwamen Aladesehu, affirmed the initiative’s role in preparing youths for success in the technology-driven landscape of the 21st century.

With a focus on fostering a symbiotic relationship between the government and its youth populace, the initiative aims to build trust and collaboration while empowering young entrepreneurs to become the cornerstone of Edo’s future prosperity.
