In light of the solemn observance of Good Friday, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has extended a heartfelt message to Christians nationwide, encouraging them to contemplate the profound implications of the day.

Good Friday, which heralds the Easter festivities, serves as a poignant reminder of Jesus Christ’s ultimate sacrifice for humanity’s salvation.

Governor Obaseki expressed his solidarity with the Christian community, stating, “As we honor the sacrifices made on Calvary, let us also embody the spirit of sacrifice, love, tolerance, and selflessness.”
