Speaking at the Cocktail Party of the 26th Annual Conference of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers in Benin City, Governor Obaseki, represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. He emphasized the importance of reviewing critical policies and agendas to drive economic prosperity in the state.

Highlighting the administration’s vision of attaining a modern and prosperous Edo, Governor Obaseki emphasized the significance of attracting both local and international investors to the state, capitalizing on the numerous investment opportunities it offers.
Mr. Oluwole Ololade Adeosun, FCS, the President and Chairman of Council for the Institute, commended the conference as a platform to foster trade relationships within and beyond Edo State. He expressed gratitude to the Edo State government for creating an enabling environment that supports the growth and success of companies such as Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc. and Presco Plc.
Furthermore, Mr. Adeosun urged the development of these companies, emphasizing the capital market’s commitment to providing funding and support to bolster their capacity. By doing so, Nigeria can regain its position as a leader in agricultural products related to oil palm.
