The government of Edo State has recently announced its intention to set up Emergency Communication Centers throughout the state, a move aimed at bolstering its security framework.

This development was shared at a media conference led by the Honourable Commissioner for Public Security and Safety, Hon. Kingsley Uwagbale.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been forged between the Nigerian Communications Commission and the Edo State Government. This alliance is designed to bring about a transformation in the approach to emergencies within the state’s safety and security system.
