Edo Police Command Announces Physical/Credentials Screening for Nigeria Police Force Recruitment
The Edo State Police Command has issued a special invitation to applicants from Edo State who have applied for the ongoing recruitment into the Constable Cadre in the Nigeria Police Force.
The physical/credentials screening exercise will take place at the Police Training School in Ogida, Benin City, from Monday 8th to Monday 29th, 2024.
In a statement by the State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, shortlisted candidates are advised to come fully prepared with the following:
- Recent passport photographs.
- Two white flat files.
- Clean white T-shirts and shorts (knickers) to wear at the screening centre.
- Evidence of Physical/Mental Fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital.
- Evidence of good character endorsed by each village/district head of the applicants.
- Original and duplicate copies of the certificate of origin, duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
- Original and duplicate copies of the National Identity Card/Slip.
- Original and duplicate copies or declaration of age.
- Printout of the application form.
- Completed Guarantor’s form.
- Invitation Slips.
The statement emphasizes that candidates must arrive at the screening venue promptly at 0800HRS on the date specified in their invitation slips. The Commissioner of Police, CP Funsho Adegboye, mni, extends well wishes to all shortlisted applicants for a successful screening exercise.
SP Nwabuzor assures the public that the mandated entry requirements outlined in the Police Acts and Regulations will be strictly followed throughout the process. He emphasizes that the exercise is completely free, urging all participants to maintain order and avoid any behavior that may hinder the smooth running of the exercise. Violators will face arrest and prosecution.
