Edo State Government Partners with Auto Dealers for Africa’s Largest Car Auction and Expo
The Edo State Government is teaming up with local and international automobile dealers to host the Edo Car Auction 2022 (ECA 22), a groundbreaking event poised to become Africa’s biggest car auction and expo. Scheduled for April 2022 in Benin City, the event aims to connect buyers and sellers worldwide, providing access to affordable and quality automobiles.
Chief of Staff to the Edo State Governor, Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha, emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing citizens’ livelihoods and fostering a business-friendly environment. “Edo State is now the hub of the car business in the South-south and South-east regions, and this event presents a new opportunity for car buyers and sellers in the regions.”
Iyoha added, “We’re uniting top automobile dealers globally with local car dealers in Benin City to enhance access to quality and affordable cars through the Edo Car Auction, set to become Africa’s largest car auction and expo.”
Coordinator Terry Prince Osemwingie described the event as Africa’s biggest open market for buying and selling quality and affordable cars. “This event is not just for car dealers but also for citizens who want to sell their cars. It will bring together stakeholders in the automobile industry to improve access to cars without stress or fear of exploitation.”
