Our duty is to enrich the Edo people — Obaseki

Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, has stated that it is the state’s duty to make Edo people wealthy, pointing out that generating wealth is correlated with the development of cities throughout the state.

This was stated by Obaseki during a press conference in the state capital of Benin City.

“I implore more people to make investments in Edo State. We will work hard as a government to offer the assistance needed to lower the risks that business owners in the state assume. We will keep providing the security, electricity, and infrastructure needed for investors to be successful.” he stated

“Due to our development efforts and the favorable business climate we have established in Edo State, there is currently enough traffic in the state. We have a distinct advantage because of our strategically located and connected position to other regions of the nation, which we are making good use of to expand and strengthen our economy.”

He went on, “It is our responsibility as a government to make our people wealthy. Being wealthy has no negative effects as long as we change the way we think. Cities get more developed when people are wealthier. Our government wants to see a great deal of wealth and prosperity among its citizens.”
