Edo State Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa emphasized the importance of love, understanding, and unity as the Muslim community begins the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, Idahosa described Ramadan as a period for reflection, spiritual discipline, and the strengthening of community bonds.
He urged Nigerians to utilize this significant time to foster forgiveness, promote peace, and support one another. “Together, let us build a future where love and understanding prevail and where the light of hope shines brightly for all,” Idahosa stated.
Idahosa also encouraged Muslims to embrace the core values of Ramadan, which include self-discipline, charity, and kindness. He expressed that these principles are essential for creating a more harmonious and inclusive society.
In closing, he offered prayers for Allah’s guidance and blessings upon all those observing Ramadan.
