Dr. Folake Ademiluyi Loses Husband

Versatile and pro-Akoko-Edo development enthusiast, Dr. (Mrs.) Folake Ademiluyi has lost her husband, Prince Ibukun Adebambo Ademiluyi.  

An obituary issued by the family eulogized Prince Ademiluyi, aged 71, as having lived a life marked by integrity, service, compassion and unwavering faith. It stated that his legacy of love, leadership and devotion to family and community will forever be remembered.

Funeral activities for the deceased will begin on Thursday, May 11, 2026, with a Night of Tributes at the Yoruba Tennis Club at 5pm. He will be laid to rest on Friday, May 22, 2026, after a funeral service at St. Phillip’s Anglican Church, Aiyetoro, Ile-Ife

The management and staff of Akoko Edo Newspaper join other Akoko Edo indigenes in commiserating with Dr (Mrs) Folake Ademiluyi, an active member of this platform and the Akoko-Edo Development Association, where she serves as the secretary of the Agribusiness Committee.
