Communities situated along the vital Benin-Akure highway in Edo State have collectively voiced their profound appreciation for Governor Monday Okpebholo’s dedicated efforts in fostering development within their region.
This commendation was formally expressed during a recent courtesy visit by community representatives to the Governor, who was represented by his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, in Benin on Tuesday.
The delegation, spearheaded by Ekhoesuehi Cardinal, Secretary of the Evboneka community, comprised a diverse group of influential community leaders. Their visit served as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the tangible progress being made in their areas under the current administration.
A focal point of the communities’ praise was the ongoing and extensive reconstruction of the Benin-Akure highway. This significant infrastructure undertaking was lauded as a crucial intervention poised to revolutionize transportation and invigorate economic activities throughout the region.

In response to the heartfelt commendations, Governor Okpebholo, through his representative, extended an appeal to the communities.
